Fashion-forward jewellery brand Ania Haie has hired a director of sales for the US as business rapidly builds stateside.
Ania Haie only launched a little under a year ago but it quickly became a key player in the UK and European markets, and attracted buyers in the US early than expected.
To deal with demand stateside, Ania Haie has hired industry veteran Alisa Bunger as US director of sales.
“Alisa brings over 20 years of industry expertise with success taking other brands to the forefront and understands what the jewelry retailers are up against,” shares Ania Haie founder, Andy Maine. “We’re thrilled to have her join the Ania Haie family and look forward to the success we know she will bring to the brand in the US.”
Bunger says of the appointments: “I’m excited and proud to build the sales team and share the Ania Haie brand with the US jewelry market. We’re looking forward to building strong partnerships with boutiques, independent and chain jewelry retailers alike to provide a new brand that keeps up with the latest trends at affordable price points for quicker turn inventory.”
Already making a name for themselves by offering accessible trend-driven jewellery pieces without compromising on quality, Ania Haie has become the latest favourite for young style-savvy female consumer.
In the UK, retailers have commended the brand for driving a younger audience into stores and enabling relationships to be built with the next generation of jewellery consumers.
“Jewellery retailers are competing against fashion stores such as H&M, which are constantly introducing new products and changing the fashion looks in store, so we are doing the same concept with jewellery,” shares Maine on the brand’s vision.
Ania Haie is set to launch two new collections for SS19, bringing key catwalk trends to jewellery stores.
