Arctic Circle to represent Fairtrade Gold at annual media event

Arctic Circle

Arctic Circle has been chosen as the only jewellery brand to represent Fairtrade gold at the annual Fairtrade Foundation media event on July 9 – representing a significant step for managing directors Gary Wroe and Judith Lockwood.

The brand will showcase a selection of fully traceable Fairtrade gold and Canadian diamond bridal jewellery at the event using its motto ‘It’s Cool to Care’ as a way of enticing brides and bridegrooms to choose Fairtrade.

Each diamond used by Arctic Circle is mined, cut and engraved with a unique serial number in Canada, before goldsmiths based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter set them into Fairtrade Gold rings, pendants and earrings.

Pieces are available in 18ct white, yellow or rose Fairtrade Gold.

The Fairtrade Foundation’s event will take place at the Good Housekeeping institute in London on July 9.
