British fine jewellery brand Astley Clarke has “gone Google” for a short film (below) advertising Google’s Apps for Work.
The advert follows founder Bec Astley Clarke and her team as they demonstrate how specific Google Apps, especially video messaging service Google Hangouts, aid the business.
Scenes show Astley Clarke’s creative director, Lorna Watson, discussing the quality of stones in Jaipur, India, and Bec Astley Clarke liaising with retail visual merchandising staff via mobile video messaging.
The commercial was filmed on location in Bec Astley Clarke’s Central London home, the Astley Clarke business headquarters and Selfridges department store on Oxford Street.
Astley Clarke founder and chairman Bec Astley Clarke MBE, commented: “As Astley Clarke has grown internationally we have become increasingly reliant on Google App’s for work, and so when Google got in touch we jumped at the opportunity to work with them on this short film.
“I started the brand in 2006 and today there are a team of 40 of us, we’re a global multi-channel brand and Google App’s for work help us communicate with the team no matter where they are in the world – whether that is using Hangouts or Google drive. I am thrilled with the final film and feel that Google have captured the spirit of the Astley Clarke brand perfectly.”
The video will be showcased across the Google Apps for Work channels, including the dedicated blog, Twitter feed and YouTube channel.
