British jewellery brand Auree has drawn influence from the southern Spanish region of Andalucía for its new collection.

Inspired by the coastlines, influences and Spanish traditions found in the region, the Andalucía collection is designed by the company’s founder, Amelia Bainbridge.

Auree said in a statement that the collection combines “graphic forms and golden hues, paying homage to the region’s architecture, melting pot of cultures, golden colour palette and weather”.

The company, founded in 2014, has previously drawn inspiration from other areas of Europe for its collections, such the Italian province of Sicily.

“The collection was born in celebration of memories from travelling around the region of Andalucía,” explained Bainbridge. “We have brought the life from the region into the power of the jewellery. A strong influence in the collection is the Mosque of Cordoba, an extraordinary yet unassuming building with striking Islamic art.”

The collection launches this month and includes earrings and necklaces, available in 18ct Gold Vermeil, each piece named after an area of Andalucía: Cordoba, Granada and Ronda.
