Brand racks up strong growth in 15th year with plans to expand.
Jewellery brand Babette Wasserman has enjoyed strong growth over the past year adding 50 new retailers to its stockists list in the UK alone.
The brand is now stocked at a wide variety of stores in the UK and founder Babette Wasserman said that an influx of press coverage over the past year has helped it tie up new deals.
She said: “This is a really exciting moment for us. Having had six pages of our jewellery featured within Marie Claire in their December issue as well as having celebrities wear my pieces on the final episodes of The X Factor and The Apprentice have helped propel my brand forward and subsequently we have opened 50 new accounts within the UK over the last year.”
This year the brand is celebrating its 15th anniversary and Wasserman said that the brand will continue to push further into the UK market as well as focusing on international growth, adding that she has a yet-to-be-unveiled cross-branding project in the pipeline.
Wasserman added: “I am looking at increasing our presence within the UK stores we sell to and taking on new ones. I have a cross branding project in the pipelines which is very exciting but I cannot say yet who it is with.
“We are also currently growing our Middle Eastern as well as US business with two new distributors.”
Outside of the UK Babette Wasserman is sold in Austria, China, Dubai, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Turkey and the US.
