The new Babette Wasserman site has a more fashion-forward look.

Fashion-forward site has improved e-commerce and marketing functions.

British jewellery designer Babette Wasserman has revamped her website, giving it a fresh fashion-forward look and improving the e-commerce facilities.

The new transactional site, hosted at, will show stock levels in real time with sold-out items being removed from the site to avoid disappointing consumers. Previously this function was not available and the site was updated less frequently.

The site will stock Babette Wasserman’s full collection and each item online features a full description with a zoom function for product images. Also new to the site is a gift-wrapping service available on all purchases, a facility that allows shoppers to print out a selection of circles representing ring sizes to easily identify the correct size for them, and a full list of Babette Wasserman stockists.

Wasserman has also started up a blog on the site and a newsletter to keep in touch with her customer base. The blog and newsletters will also be used to communicate offers to shoppers.

Wasserman said: “We had the very first interactive jewellery website in the UK created in early 1997, which was my first year of business. In redesigning the site it was not only important for me to continue having a strong online presence, but I really wanted to create an experience that reflects the feel and look of Babette Wasserman jewellery”.
