The British Academy of Jewellery (BAJ) and alumna Susannah King have partnered in a bid to support emerging talent within the industry.
Former BAJ student King now runs her eponymous brand, Susannah King Jewellery.
Together with King, the BAJ is asking up-and-coming jewellers to enter its giveaway contest, titled BAJ x Susannah King Jewellery Making Advent.
Those who enter via the BAJ’s Instagram page will be in with the chance of winning second-hand jewellery design tools donated by King herself.
Entrants can double their chances of winning by also signing up to the BAJ’s newsletter via its website.
The second-hand tools, the BAJ revaled, are all in working order and range from rolling mills and a drill to materials such as gold-plated clasps and assorted gemstones, from Swiss blue topaz to labradorite and pink sapphire.
The contest ends tomorrow (Friday, 4 December 2020) so jewellers should be quick to enter.
Susannah King has recently featured in Professional Jeweller‘s Collections of the Year, where she was shortlisted as one of the top four designer-makers in the country this year.
