Have you got what it takes to be crowned ‘Britain’s Best Jeweller’ on the BBC’s new reality talent show?

BBC 2 is calling on Professional Jeweller readers to apply to be on its new reality show focused on the world of jewellery.

‘All That Glitters’ has been billed as a talent search to find ‘Britain’s most brilliant jewellery maker.

Unfolding inside a specially built workshop in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, this six-part contest will see eight talented jewellers from all walks of life take on challenges to prove they are a cut above the rest.

TwentyTwenty, the production company tasked with bringing this show to our screens, is looking for both amateurs and professionals to enter the show.

Each week the finalists will be asked to turn a real clients’ dream into reality by transforming emotion into pieces that will last a lifetime. Throughout the contest the jewellers will work with gold, silver, diamonds, and sapphires.

The challenges will explore the wildly different styles and aesthetics that can be found across different types of jewellery and some will even be inspired by the world’s most famous and coveted pieces.

While eight jewellers will enter the workshop, only one can claim All That Glitters crown.

If you think you have what it takes to be crowned Britain’s best jewellery maker, please apply by clicking on the link HERE.

The application closing date is Friday December 13 2019, and the production company is encouraging applicants to get in touch as soon as possible.

Applicants will be asked to provide information about themselves and their career in jewellery making, whilst also providing images of existing creations.
