Reports suggest that the air date for the much-anticipated BBC jewellery show All That Glitters has been set for mid-April, just under two weeks away.

The programme’s first episode of six will be shown on BBC Two at 8pm on Tuesday, 13 April according to the BBC schedule.

It also lists the full title of the show as All That Glitters: Britain’s Next Jewellery Star.

Renowned jewellers Solange Azagury-Partridge and Shaun Leane will star as judges, while it was revealed in August last year that comedian Katherine Ryan will host.

Eight jewellers will battle it out over six episodes in a Great British Bake Off-style competition format.

Early in the show’s production it was billed as a talent search to find ‘Britain’s most brilliant jewellery maker’ as the production company TwentyTwenty looked for applicants.
