Beaverbrooks

Beaverbrooks has begun a search for the UK’s happiest marriage, promising the winning couple a VIP photoshoot and £1,000 worth of jewellery.

The victorious pair will become a case study for the company’s 100-year campaign and will feature in PR, marketing materials and on Beaverbrooks’ website and social media channels.

Beaverbrooks, which is family run, has stores throughout the country and is this year celebrating its 100th anniversary.

And it says that the secret behind a happy marriage is knowing when to apologise, regularly saying ‘I love you’, and finding time for each other.

As reported by Kent Online, Kay Pay, a manager at Beaverbrooks, said: “From marriage proposals to wedding anniversaries, we’ve been a part of our customer’s special moments for 100 years, so to mark this milestone anniversary we wanted to give something back.

“From saying ‘I love you’ every day to always finding time for your significant other, our research shows that there are a few key pointers that will help keep marriages happy and content for partners.

“So, whether you’ve spent your whole life together in marital bliss, or you’re a newly married couple ready to embark on an exciting new adventure together, we want to hear from you.”

Entrants have until July 30 to apply and must explain in 100 words their tips to their happy marriage and why they deserve the crown.
