Emily Gore’s graduate collection was awarded Goldsmiths’ Talent Spotted 2015 at New Designers.
Taking inspiration from the geometric nature of contemporary architecture, Gore explores the bold shapes, patterns and textures of modern buildings in her work.
Gore predominately uses tubing with connections clearly visible. Integral to her design aesthetics is the control of the moving elements within each piece, which creates a playful aspect.
Her first collection features half cut pearls, textured silver and gold tube combined with hand-dyed rope and faceted corian.
