Biannual Istanbul Jewelry Show cuts back to one date for 2020

The biannual Istanbul Jewelry Show will only take place once this year as the rescheduled March edition has now been postponed to 2021.

The Istanbul Jewelry Show March edition, which has been rescheduled to run from June 18-21 2020 at CNR Expo, Istanbul Fair Center, has now been postponed until March 25-28 2021. 

Show organisers remark: “In light of the recent global developments around the COVID-19 virus, our top priority is the health and safety of everyone involved in the Istanbul Jewelry Show; our employees, partners, customers and exhibitors.

“After careful consultation with industry stakeholders, and upon the official decision of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade on 20 April 2020 regarding the postponement of all events until July 1, the event will now take place in March 2021.”

Istanbul Jewelry Show October edition will be held as planned on October 8-11 2020.

More information will be posted the show’s website and official communication channels in due course.

“We are continuing to liaise directly with all relevant authorities while monitoring and complying with guidance from the World Health Organization and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health,” adds the organisers in a statement. “We will keep you informed of any new developments as we receive them.

“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused, and we hope you understand that this decision is in the best interests of the community.”
