Biiju to support Cancer Research UK

British fine jewellery brand Biiju will join the fight against cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.

Throughout the month, a limited edition pink Explosion ring will be available to buy on the website with 30% of all proceeds from the product going to Cancer Research UK.

Going pink for breast cancer awareness, the brand’s limited edition ring has been crafted in 18ct rose gold and pink tourmaline.

The pink Explosion ring will become a feature on the homepage of the Biiju website, with existing banners/ designs of the homepage being changed to pink as well to fit in with the pink theme for the month.

Biiju designer and founder, Joanna Boyen, says: “Breast cancer affects so many women and families and I wanted Biiju to help in anyway we could. We chose this particular piece, as pink is the colour that is most recognised with breast cancer awareness month.

“When I designed the Explosion ring, to me it was an explosion of colour, exuberance and optimism and in some cultures pink tourmaline is thought represent feminine energy. I have chosen to donate any money raised to Cancer Research UK as this is aid of all forms of cancer, including breast cancer.”
