BJA takes membership applications online

Move to make applications and payments even easier for businesses.

The British Jewellers’ Association (BJA) hopes to make membership applications even easier by taking them online.

The move has been made following notable growth in the number of BJA members in recent months.

Retailers and companies now seeking to become BJA members can apply via the Association’s website through a series of four steps, and can also make payments via a secure web link.

BJA chief executive Simon Rainer said: “Through the BJA website analytics we know that we receive hundreds of prospective members researching the benefits of membership every month – it is one of the busiest areas of our web site.

“Now we can easily convert this interest into action and provide an easy path for potential members to join the BJA."

The BJA will follow up its online membership applications with a new web project that will provide an online version of the BJA’s Confidential Credit Letter scheme, enabling its members to report on overdue payments.
