Trade association to host seminar on exporting opportunities.

British Jewellery and Gift International (BJGI) is planning to host a seminar this month, focused on helping UK suppliers reach growing overseas markets such as China.

The seminar has been designed to help jewellery manufacturers or suppliers based in the UK expand beyond the British Isles and Europe, with a view to the fast-growing markets in Asia.

Working in tandem with the British Jeweller’s Association (BJA), the seminars will explain how companies can explore opportunities for exporting jewellery to Chinese buyers.

Topics will include an overview of the market and analysis of the Chinese jewellery sector, as well as case studies and a guide to the dos and don’ts of conducting business in China.

The event will take place at Federation House in Birmingham on Monday 16 May, starting at 11am.

Admission is free to BJA and BJGI members, and £25 plus VAT to non-members.
