Edinburgh retailer to hold party with sneak peek of new work.
Edinburgh’s quirky jewellery store Black Box Boutique is set to celebrate its first birthday with an evening event and a sneak preview of new jewellery by its founders Hannah Livingston and Sarah Brown.
The duo will host a first birthday party with a raffle, half-price sale and a “sneak peek” of new jewellery designs.
The store was opened last summer after jewellery design graduate Livingston joined forces with her parents to open a jewellery store with a difference in the city.
She and Brown now run the boutique together, selling their own jewellery collections as well as work by Laura Gravestock, Jane Gowans, Myia Bonner and Amanda Coleman.
A release from Black Box said: It seems time is flying by at a ridiculous speed these days [and] this first year has been a whirlwind, most likely because it has been so much fun.
“We have a night of curious delights planned: we’re giving a sneaky first peek at new work from Hannah and Sarah, as well as the chance to snap up a bargain as we sell off select past season designs at half-price. We’re also running a wee raffle where we’re giving away lovely Black Box jewellery.”
Drinks and birthday cake will also be served at the event on July 13 at the Edinburgh store.
