Boutique jeweller Pravins has announced that it is to open its first store in the South East at Bluewater, one of Europe’s leading retail destinations.

The new 1,000 sq ft boutique will open next Easter and will stock the brand’s full range of collections, as well as providing Bluewater’s guests with the opportunity to commission bespoke pieces to mark significant milestones.

The store design will focus on providing a pampering experience in a luxurious environment, and staff will be trained to the highest standards. This comes as millennials are increasingly demanding experiential stores.

Commenting on the news, Russell Loveland, portfolio director at Land Securities, co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater, said: “The jewellery sector is thriving at Bluewater, with signature pieces and high-end watches performing particularly strongly.

“We have grown our offer significantly over the last 18 months to cater for this demand, and Pravins is another great addition.

“Their focus on quality, individualism and providing a special experience mirrors our own approach, and they will be a very welcome arrival amongst our guests.”

Sanjeev Shah, co-owner of Pravins, added: “We are very selective in our choice of locations. Not only must they have a loyal following amongst typical Pravins customers, their brand and philosophy has to be complementary.

“When we began our search for a new boutique, Bluewater immediately stood out as the place we had to be. We are therefore delighted to be opening and are confident we will bring something different to Bluewater.”

Pravins is the latest in a series of jewellery brands to open stores at Bluewater. Breitling, the luxury watch brand, launched its first standalone boutique in the South East at Bluewater last year, joining Omega and Mappin & Webb in providing a critical mass of luxury jewellery brands.
