Paul Eberle has been with Georg Jensen for twenty years, leading the wholesale arm of the jewellery business since 2003.

Where sales teams often swap around and regularly change, his commitment and loyalty to the Danish brand is something to be admired in itself. During his time with the firm, his passion and enthusiasm for the brand has continued to grow and is said to be infectious to those who he works with. Eberle himself often describes his vision of Georg Jensen as the sleeping giant of Danish national pride — and he has successfully sold that vision to hundreds of retailers over the years.

Eberle has succeeded in growing Georg Jensen year after year, even during challenging times in retail.

He has always had a clear strategy for how to build the brand and has stuck to this.

In 2020, Georg Jensen now partners with an exclusive range of stores which are handpicked by the team. In the UK, many retail partners applaud the Georg Jensen team and report strong sell-through for the brand’s products.

It is clear Eberle has also developed a deep level of trust with the brand’s customers, which only comes from years of exceeding expectations. Additionally, Eberle is a great mentor to many at Georg Jensen – being quick to encourage and share responsibilities.
