Professional Jeweller is delighted to announce the finalists in the Branded Jewellery Boutique of the Year category of the 2017 Professional Jeweller Awards.

Finalists in this category present the essence of their brand in their own physical stores.

The finalists in the Professional Jeweller Awards Branded Jewellery Boutique of the Year category are:



Welsh jewellery brand Clogau has been expanding its branded boutique footprint over the last 12 months, with the opening of four new outlet stores and standalone at Manchester airport. As the brand goes from strength to strength, experiencing steady growth both domestically in the UK and in travel retail, it has been able to fully immerse customers in the Clogau experience with more store openings in prime positions.

Cred Jewellery

The last 12 months have been significant for Cred Jewellery as it has scooped awards for multiple Fairtrade jewellery collections, helped to change the school lives of children in Santa Filomena and featured in a brand new book on sustainable living. All these achievements and the brand’s ethos to be ethical come together inside its beautiful boutique in Chichester, which showcases the story and values which makes Cred the success it is today.

Links of London

Links of London has been, and continues to, focus on its standalone boutiques, with a roll out programme in place to refurbish stores to mirror its revamped flagship on New Brook Street — which pays homage to the brands heritage and reflects a stately home. The company has also invested in a campaign to use the Sweetie bracelet as a basis for bespoke sales, with staff being trained in how to keep this product fresh and exciting, and deliver customers a personal experience.



The UK is Pandora’s largest European market, with (at last count) 228 concept stores spread across every major UK high street. With Brien Winther joining as the brand’s new UK managing director at the beginning of the year and declaring 2017 ‘the year of the consumer’, he has put the retail side of the business first and used his background in retail to improve the brand’s service and make it a place staff are proud to work.

Thomas Sabo

Now with 43 standalone stores in the UK, Thomas Sabo has been focused on making sure the brand is presented as the ‘best in its class’ across all channels. Outside of the brand’s hometown, the UK is Thomas Sabo’s biggest market and one that continues to grow. Standalone boutiques have been designed to truly reflect the brand and create a customer experience that is second to none by focusing on design, knowledge and creating a personal experience.


Trollbeads only opened its first concept store at the end of 2014, and now it has three nationwide. Located in York, Cambridge and Norwich, each Trollbeads standalone boutique has its own design, reflecting the personality of the brand and the area it resides in. With each store unique from the next, each boutique has become a destination for avid Trollbeads fans (to which there are many!). The brand has also secured the bridal consumer market this year with the launch of its innovative, interchangeable tiara.
