Fine jewellery e-tailer launched by CSM graduate Maya Yuen.

Digital jewellery retailer has launched across Asia, giving a selection of British designers the opportunity to present their wares to consumers in Hong Kong, China and beyond.

Founded by Central Saint Martins graduate Maya Yuen, the online gallery and boutique allows customers to make purchases through an engaging bilingual interface directly from designers – guaranteeing authenticity.


Shipping covers Greater China and most Southeast Asian Countries, including Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia.

According to an official press statement: “The modern and successful women in Asia want items that can show off their tastes, social status and knowledge, while being able to seamlessly transit from workplace to leisure or other formal functions – and it is Bijoud’s goal to meet this demand by bringing premium designer jewellery to the market.”

Prices on the website currently range from HKD1,000 (£77.85) to HKD11,000 (£855).

Bijoud is aimed as a wide cross section of Asian customers; from women in their late twenties to forty plus. The platform’s target consumer has significant “purchasing power” and is looking for fine jewellery with a unique sense of style that is not regularly seen on the Asian market, according to founder Maya Yuen.

She continues: “We are very careful in selecting our designers, because we understand the value of is directly affected by the quality of the designers we have. strives to be as style neutral as possible – presenting an honest representation of the world of designer jewellery through our collection of elite designers.”

The site currently features ten designers, including Dinny Hall, SHO by Sarah Ho, Assya London, Jana Reinhardt, Kasun London, Kirsten Goss, Missoma, Maria Khan, Joanna Dah Dah and Maria Khan.

Alongside its e-tail offer, Bijoud provides editorial services including designers’ journals, jewellery guides, care knowledge, right size guides and photo galleries.
