The gold and silver bullion company, which sells directly to consumers, is now on course for a turnover of £120 million next year.

Halliday-Stein said of the accolades: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won our category at the eCommerce Awards. It’s a great recognition of all the hard work we have put in over the last five years.

“We were also delighted to have been shortlisted in the Growing Business Awards. It was a great achievement to have been named in the final six out of thousands of entries, and to have Bullion By Post commended by the judging panel.”

Bullion By Post’s sales hit £87m in the year 2012 to 2013, and the company moved to a new headquarters in Birmingham city centre in June. In the next 12 months the company plans to recruit a further 10 employees, and is plotting European expansion.

To date, Bullion By Post has processed more than 67,000 orders, which are dispatched with free insured next day delivery and are covered by Lloyds of London.
