Cassandra Goad revamps boutique as part of anniversary celebrations

Fine jewellery firm, Cassandra Goad, has refurbished its boutique on Sloane Street as part of its 35th anniversary.

The namesake founder shares: “As I embark on the next leg of my design journey, I found it only right that the shop on Sloane Street should be re-designed in line with my new 35th Anniversary Collection and reflect my new destinations.”

The four-story townhouse provided a blank canvas in which Cassandra Goad, with help from Freeman and Whitehouse Interior Design, could tell the story of the brand ethos and provide the perfect setting to display the latest jewels.

“The recovered oak floor, pastel colours and airy spaces, reflect my love and respect for nature,” Goad shares.

The layout of the store echoes Goad’s beliefs that a jewellery journey is like the acts of a play. The lower ground floor is home to Act I where wearable, colourful, interchangeable jewels are displayed in a room with natural Sisal Panama carpet set against a navy and white colour palette with natural fabrics and golden accents. An ornate mirror and a fireplace help create a homey atmosphere

Cassandra Goad has transformed the store in her 35th year designing jewellery.

The ground floor is where Act II comes into play and where the most iconic and core collections are showcased. The crisp clean aesthetic is warmed by oak parquet flooring repurposed from a Belgian chateau, natural fabrics, luxurious pale pink velvet drapes and touches of my signature navy and gold. An abstract display of wall cabinets houses the collections and the theme continues as you move up to Act III on the first floor.

Home to high jewellery and engagement rings, this private salon with dusty blue armchairs, a large soft Berber rug brought back from Goad’s travels, art deco style cabinets and mahogany bookshelves is flooded with light from the full-length windows that look out onto Sloane Street. The parquet flooring continues and leads comsu, ers through glass double doors to the company studio, where a large 21st century desk takes centre stage in its navy-blue surroundings.
