Brand writes new business at Jewellery Show; notes strength of leads.

Charitable brand Chavin Jewellery is celebrating a boom in new business, signing up 78% more stockists at The Jewellery Show last month compared to its 2012 appearance.

The brand, founded by Simon Ogilvie-Harris, described the growth as "great news". Chavin has signed with retailers including Fabulous and Green + Benz, with Ogilivie-Harris now following up on a number of "strong leads" from retailers.


The brand also used its appearance at last month’s Jewellery Show to launch new, brightly-coloured PoS and packaging, as well as a retail merchandising manual for retailers to use in-store.

Jo Stroud, owner and buyer at jewellery chain Fabulous and 2012 Professional Jeweller Hot 100 Retail Star, said she was impressed with the thought that had gone into Chavin’s new collections, as well as its retailers support.

Green + Benz managing director and fellow Hot 100 Retail Star, Helen Dimmick, said: “Since working together, I’ve been further delighted with Simon Ogilvie-Harris’s commitment to us as a retailer, developing strong partnership values, providing bespoke point of sale solutions and a tailor-made training programme, all geared to making life and business much easier to run”.

The brand has also reported follow-up interest from fashion magazine and national newspapers that visited The Jewellery Show, with samples called in for photo shoots.
