Jewellery brand takes first steps into wholesale market at show.
Chavin Jewellery, a UK-based design-led ethical jewellery brand, enjoyed its official UK launch at IJL today.
The brand is exhibiting at the show this week with its debut Antiquity collection, which has been designed by Ana de Costa.
Chavin is named after an ancient Peruvian civilization that developed highly skilled techniques in metallurgy. The new Antiquity collection has been designed in homage to the Chavin, with the jaguar chosen as a symbol because it was their sacred animal. The collection uses ethical silver, gold vermeil and rubies.
Chavin will donate money to the charity SOS Children for each piece sold.
