International jewellery and fashion chain Claire’s, formerly Claire’s Accessories, has launched a new same-day click-and-collect service across both the UK and US.
A statement announcing the news described it as part of a plan to “[innovate] its digital offerings to expand upon its multi-dimensional shopping experience”.
It also added: “Click-and-collect integrates Claire’s online and in-store experiences, adding to the brand’s robust portfolio of omnichannel services and creating a more seamless shopping experience for customers, allowing for richer, more meaningful connections and personalisation at scale.
“Same-day click-and-collect leverages the brand’s store inventory and provides greater convenience for the customer with pick up in four hours or less within the UK and two hours or less within the US, so customers can get what is needed to feel inspired, celebrate and express themselves.”
Customers can select a ‘pick up’ option as their delivery method when checking out their purchases.
They then select their chosen store and wait for an email confirming it is ready for pick-up.
The service is powered by one of the first custom in-store pickup apps created by global CRM specialist Salesforce.
