Welsh jewellery house encourages party guests to look their best.

Clogau Gold will sponsor the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 Best Dressed Competition for a second year, the company has confirmed.

The Hot 100 is the biggest party of the year for the British jewellery industry, and attracts an exclusive crowd of over 500 revellers dressed to catch the attention of paparazzi and society photographers at the event.

The Clogau Gold Best Dressed competition will once again reward the most glamorous and eye-catching men and women at the glittering event, which takes place this year on September 4 at a secret central London venue.

Photographs at the Clogau Gold photo booth are posted online as part of the overall Professional Jeweller Hot 100 coverage, and are voted on by visitors to the web site.

“We were delighted with the response to the Hot 100 Clogau Best Dressed competition in 2011. There were some truly brilliant efforts and the online voting gallery shows how much fun everyone had at one of the most fantastic events in our industry calendar,” said Clogau Gold managing director Ben Roberts. “From a brand building perspective, it’s great to be involved with the Hot 100. We’re really proud to be associated with it as it just gets better every year.”

Last year’s winner, Thomas Dytton, received a bespoke piece of Clogau jewellery designed specifically to suit his personality and style, a prize that will be offered again this year.

“We look forward to rewarding this year’s winner with another bespoke piece of Clogau jewellery,” promised Roberts. “Anyone looking on tips to win the Best Dressed competition could take a risk and google Ben Roberts, Clogau Gold,” he joked.
