Welsh brand will use jewellery-focused PR company to raise profile.

Clogau Gold has appointed CMJ Media to carry out its UK PR, in a signing that marks the media company’s 13th client.

Clogau managing director Ben Roberts said the decision to appoint CMJ Media is part of the brand’s strategy for growth.

“Over the last couple of years the Clogau team have worked hard to hone every element of the brand. The jewellery collections, corporate identity, marketing collateral and retailer support packages have been developed to ensure long term success for the brand and our retail partners.

“The appointment of CMJ Media as our PR agency is something we’re really excited about. Sarah Carpin and Katharine Realff have an exceptional insight into the jewellery industry and a real talent for identifying the best PR opportunities to raise the profile of the brands they work with.”

To date, CMJ Media has signed jewellery clients including Brown & Newirth, Ti Sento, Marco Bicego, Alexis Dove and Molly Brown London. It has also worked to introduce Russian and American companies Maxim Voznesensky and Diamonfire to the UK market.

CMJ Media director Sarah Carpin said: "We are delighted to be working with Clogau. This is a brand that is already very well established in Wales and it is fast growing its market share across England and Scotland as well as maintaining a major presence in the international travel retail market.

“Clogau is a very deserving winner of Brand of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards this year and our aim will be to promote Clogau and its collections throughout the UK, through magazine editorials, special events, sponsorship and celebrity endorsements to the UK jewellery trade and to the jewellery consumer."
