Brand to follow last year’s pirate cufflinks with new one-off design.

Clogau Gold has confirmed that it will once again be creating a bespoke piece of jewellery for the winner of its Best Dressed competition at the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 party, which takes place in London on Tuesday.

This is the second year that the brand has hosted the competition and last year it created a one-of-a-kind pair of skull and cross bones cufflinks using silver and Welsh gold for winner Thomas Dyton, brother of Pearl & Queenie owner Kathy Dyton, whose pirate-inspired outfit won him the most votes on Facebook.

There will be a dedicated Clogau Gold Best Dressed photographer at the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 party who will be snapping guests dressed in their finest on the night. The photos will then be posted to the Professional Jeweller Facebook page and voting will commence.

The person whose outfit wins the most likes over the course of a week’s voting will win the prize from Clogau Gold, which will tailor its creation to the winner’s tastes.

Clogau Gold brand manager Sonia Menezes said: “We’re thrilled to be sponsor the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 best dressed competition for the second year. This isn’t just the most eagerly awaited party in the jewellery industry’s calendar, it’s an outstanding celebration of the stars that make it great. The very lucky winner will receive a unique piece of Clogau jewellery.”

The Professional Jeweller Hot 100 party will be held on Tuesday evening at the Freemasons Hall in London and is an invite-only event. At the party this year’s line up of Hot 100 stars will be revealed with this year’s outstanding photography of each person shown for the first time.
