“To be part of the future of this industry by looking after the membership of the CMJ, finding out what they need and how we can help is central to this role. Building confidence in their businesses and offering them the best possible business services and benefits.

The role means I get to visit, learn and assist the member in their own environment, without the member having to take unnecessary time away from their business.”

Eden is well known in the industry, having worked at the NAG for 14 months as a member development manager and as an agent for well known brands including G McKenzie and The London Pearl Company.

CMJ chief executive Willie Hamilton said: “We welcome Robert Eden to CMJ and see his role as a vital one. Being able to deliver a greater level of service to our members on a one-to-one basis is crucial as we grow as a company. With his long experience in the industry, Robert is perfectly placed to be able to do this.”
