CMJ Media creates gift card scheme for retailers


Cards can be branded to fit stores & are compatible with most systems.

CMJ Media has launched a gift card scheme that retail jewellers can introduce to their stores.

The credit card-style gift cards, which are compatible with most modern retail systems, can be loaded up with a specified cash amount that can be redeemed in store.

CMJ Media has created two gift card designs for retailers to choose from, or for an additional fee retailers can choose to have the cards created with a completely bespoke design. There is also promotional in-store material available to complement the gift cards.

CMJ chief executive Willie Hamilton said: “At the CMJ, we recognise the needs of independent retailers and support our members through a range of cost-effective marketing and sales tools, which we can offer through the collective strength of the group.

"Gift cards are a great and easy way for retailers to encourage repeat business and create the potential to upsell. This initiative enables CMJ independent retailers to offer the same kind of professional gift card service that is offered by multiples and department stores, helping our independent retail jewellers to compete more effectively on the high street.”
