The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has announced that it will be bringing back its renowned trade events from 2022 after the disruption caused by the pandemic.
The group’s spring 2022 two-day meeting will mark its first physical meeting in two years, as well as a belated 40th anniversary celebration for the CMJ.
It will also be an opportunity for members to stock up on new spring and summer collections from suppliers, as well as attend a glamorous ruby-themed black-tie evening event.
While there is no word on where the spring event will be held, the CMJ has announced that its autumn 2022 trade event will be held at a famous venue – Silverstone.
A press release from the CMJ said that it will use the new venue to launch “an exciting new look” for its trade events, taking “the group into the modern era”.
Emmet Cummins, managing director of the CMJ, said: “We are looking forward to bringing the CMJ family back together again from next year.
“Feedback from our members has been very positive since reopening, so we believe that by 2022 members will be keen to see newness and invest in new collections.
“Our spring event will be an opportunity for CMJ members to reconnect and join us for an unforgettable celebration to celebrate 40 years in the industry.
“Meanwhile, Silverstone will provide us with the opportunity to inspire and enthuse with an exciting new formula, where we plan on taking the CMJ trade event forward to a whole new level.”
