Fine jewellery designer Annoushka takes inspiration from her garden topiary in Sussex for SS20.

Crafted in 18ct gold, the new Garden Party collection takes cues from the shapes of trees in the designer’s beloved garden.

Melding the surreal magic of Alice in Wonderland with the graphic lines of 70s jewellery, the mood of the collection is that of a garden party at midnight, illuminated by the flickering light of a disco ball.

“I wanted to make a collection that reflects the surreal shapes and shadows cast by the graphic topiary and the joy of the garden in summer,” says Annoushka Ducas.

The fine jewellery line features tiered earrings anchored with channel set diamond-studded plant pots and hypermobile bracelets, which trace the bubble shapes of ornamental trees.

Two different sized pendants fluid in motion can be worn on a traditional 18ct gold chain or styled on the 70s inspired torque necklace.

Each individual piece comprises ribbons of textured 18ct yellow gold with sections of jewels accented with diamonds. Unexpected rows of black rhodium grace the reverse side forming a shadowed effect.

To compliment this playful collection, Annoushka has designed a limited edition cocktail ring featuring a miniature maze framed by diamonds, complete with free running gold bead to enthral the wearer with its challenge.
