Olivia Burton – Under the Sea

Olivia Burton’s best-selling collection this year was undoubtedly ‘Under the Sea’, which launched in July and saw key SKU’s sell out at the brand’s Covent Garden boutique, online at and across a number of stockists. Not only has the collection sold well, but it has also secured the brand the 2019 Fashion Jewellery Collections of the Year title for the second consecutive year. Leading the race from the beginning, Under the Sea ended the nomination process with 40% of the votes. Inspired by the mysterious world under the sea, the jewels combine dreamy floral prints with shimmering shell accents. Bringing magic and make believe to life, these pieces could easily have been picked from an underwater treasure cove. By diving deep into the oceans for inspiration, naturally the end result has been a colourful one, with pearls being mixed with sparkling Swarovski crystals in sterling silver and gold-plated designs. The launch of Under the Sea also included a Wishing Wave glitter dial watch, which sold out in record time in the UK.

Buckley London – The Royal collection

There’s no denying the influence of the royal family on jewellery trends, and for Buckley London, following their style closely has paid off and resulted in strong sales. Following the success of its Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton replica engagement rings, Buckley London introduced The Royal collection, which became its bestselling line of 2019. Inspired by the leading ladies of the British Monarchy, the collection comprises of eight rings in total, including pieces nodding to iconic rings worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, the Duchess of Sussex, Queen Elizabeth II, Zara Tindall, Princess Eugenie and more. Understanding the longing for consumers to have a touch of royalty in their lives, retailers were quick to give this collection their seal of approval. The results are in — royal fever is real!

Les Georgettes – Les Essentielles AW19

Les Georgettes has been going from strength-to-strength in the UK, with an increasing number of retailers looking to sell its unique and innovative designs. As always, the Parisian jewellery brand made a colourful splash with its AW19 and Christmas offer, which took centre stage on the International Jewellery London boulevard this year. For the season, Les Georgettes introduced three new bangle designs for retailers to sell consumers, alongside new leather insert colours. And, for the most wonderful time of the year, the brand created plenty of sparkle and new chain bracelets for the British public to enjoy. The mix and match aspect of the brand has become a firm favourite in the fashion community, with trend-savvy consumers loving creating unique combinations with the stylish designs.

UNOde50 – My Nature

For the names of the products alone the My Nature collection deserves recognition, but thankfully retailers gave us more reason than that to shortlist the range. Launched for AW19, My Nature was the talk of the Company of Master Jewellers trade show when it was unveiled at the Group’s August event. It was love at first sight for the independent jewellers in attendance who wanted to adorn their store windows with the collection’s striking designs. Inspired by nature – its colours and shapes – the line comprises silver, gold and leather pieces handcrafted in Madrid. Hero pieces include the ‘Leaf me Alone’ ring and ‘Run Forrest’ earrings, but the real star of My Nature is the statement ‘Leaves’ necklace, which has taken the UK by storm.

Swarovski – Summer 2019

Fashion jewellery house, Swarovski, channelled a vacation mood for SS19 and consumers loved being swept away to a place where the sun shines more than in the UK. Taking inspiration from a journey across the Mediterranean, the collection celebrates the radiance and sparkle seen throughout Swarovski’s rich history in an offer that is playful, colourful and memorable. Throughout the versatile line the brand explores the interplay of light and crystal, as well as the way sunlight creates joy and illuminates a woman’s inner and outer beauty. The collection is all about escape, joy and looking at life in a positive way. From Tangiers to Thessaloniki, Capri to Corfu, Santorini to Sicily, the designs reimagine treasures found during a summer journey; amulets and talismans, sea life, ice creams and colourful cocktails.
