WINNER: Lucy Quartermaine – Diamond Drop

Lucy Quartermaine has seen success as a brand since 2007, when the eponymous creator founded it. From humble roots, she is now an accomplished English contemporary jewellery designer and silversmith, based in the city of Chester. She picked up Professional Jeweller’s coveted UK Designer of the Year award in 2019.

Diamond Drop marks Lucy Quartermaine’s first venture into diamond-set designs. The collection was inspired by some of the brand’s most well-loved and treasured pieces of jewellery. The designer loves the ability of a piece of jewellery to capture a person’s strongest memories and feelings, allowing them to always be held close. Since its launch in earlier this year, Lucy Quartermaine has seen an overwhelming response to the collection and plans to expand it in time for SS21.

Jessica Flinn Designs – Sheffield Steel Rings & Damascus Rings

Since its April 2020 launch, Sheffield Steel Rings has sold thousands of pieces. The brand’s signature collection is a range of hand-crafted steel rings, inspired by the city of Sheffield. Meanwhile, designer Jessica Flinn also spends her time folding and refolding layers of steel for the Damascus Rings brand. As each ring is turned, the unique patterns of this process become visible, meaning no two rings will be the same.

Sif Jakobs Jewellery – Vulcanello

Sif Jakobs has seen a meteoric rise since it was founded in 2009, being worn by the likes of Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. The Vulcanello collection brings a new expression into the minimalistic Sif Jakobs Jewellery universe, offering curved and unexpected shapes. The award-winning Danish brand was excited to add a new dimension to its collections with a more curved, organic look – rustic, elegant and always with a little sparkle.

Susannah King London – Vita

Third generation goldsmith Susannah King offers a traditional craftsmanship skillset after graduating from the British Academy of Jewellery. Each piece in the Vita collection is handmade by the creator and designer, with its stone individually handpicked and specifically chosen for the item in question. The brand reported that a number of renowned stockists are requesting the collection before its release date due to its stellar craftsmanship and overall look.
