WINNER: Unique & Co – Duo Collection
Unique & Co creates contemporary jewellery for both men and women, using metals like silver, steel, titanium and tungsten carbide. The brand said the idea behind the Duo Collection was for customers to combine matching rings, bracelets, cufflinks and more to create a duo of matching jewellery that offers the ultimate in jewellery personalisation.
It allows owners to mix and match, choosing pairings between materials like leather, stone and wood, combined with unusual modern metals. Also available are combinations between matt and polished finishes, or different colour plating or two-tone plating options. Colour options include steel, blue, black, gunmetal, rose gold and more for a groomed yet casual style.
Deakin & Francis – Rainbow Bumble Bee Collection
During lockdown Deakin & Francis released its Rainbow Bumble Bee Collection to support the NHS. The collection was inspired by the paintings of rainbows that children made to symbolise hope during the UK’s first lockdown. For each pair of cufflinks sold, 10% of the cost went to the NHS.
UNOde50 – Men’s Collection
José Azulay created UNOde50 to make unusual jewellery in limited runs. The brand’s designs for men feature silver-plated, mixed alloy and leather cuff bracelets, pendants, rings, cufflinks and watches. Its best-selling ‘Shackled’ bracelet is worn by Shawn Mendes, who can be seen wearing it on his new Netflix documentary In Wonder.
Anchor & Crew – Vinyl Collection
This British unisex jewellery brand, Anchor & Crew, founded in 2014, offers ethical pieces and promises a fully traceable supply chain. Using vinyl, the same material records are made from, Anchor & Crew has now created a range of bracelets that bring a touch of colour to what is usually, it said, a category dominated by black and brown leather options.
