UK jewellery manufacturer, Curteis Ltd, has become a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), the world’s leading standard-setting agency for the global jewellery and watch industry.

The manufacturer is “delighted” to be recognised as a certified member of the RJC, and its membership reflects Curteis’s commitment to responsible business practices and the wider sustainability agenda – aimed at creating positive impacts along the jewellery supply chain.

Curteis is continually looking at ways to adapt procedures to safeguard the trust of its customers and the RJC certification underpins this trust, according to the manufacturer.

Consultant Sarah North, from Jewelbuild, worked alongside Curteis to secure the manufacturer’s certification.

Talking about the certification, Curteis operations director, Claire Davies said: “As a jewellery manufacturer, we are delighted to achieve our accreditation.

“The RJC certification enables us to demonstrate to our customers that our practices and processes meet the highest standards set by the Responsible Jewellery Council.”
