What makes the PJ Awards so special to you?

At Curteis, over the years we have been fortunate to work with many businesses and witness them grow from strength to strength, proving that hard work and sheer determination can take a business from one platform into something quite spectacular.

Highlighting these sectors by sponsoring PJ Awards emphasises the great successes we have seen in the industry to date.

For us it is a privilege to be part of these celebrations.

Why have you chosen to partner with PJ again?

The Professional Jeweller Awards unite the industry, and provide a great opportunity to highlight all the successes within it, in an evening which brings us all together, celebrates and acknowledges the achievements of everyone.

This time round, we are delighted to be sponsoring the Multiple Fashion Jewellery Retailer of the Year category.

What are you most looking forward to about the return of physical awards after the pandemic?

After a year of talking over the phone or taking Zoom calls, it’ll be great to connect with people face to face once more.

What does Curteis offer?

As a manufacturing company, we at Curteis have the privilege of working and supporting many sectors within the industry.

We have a range of products which cover most jewellery sectors. Many products are readily available with same day dispatch. Orders placed online qualify for free postage.

The ‘bespoke’ side of the business is growing all the time, and we are ideally placed to supply this kind of demand.

Our customers can take advantage of our experience in many fields, and we offer a unique service to designers, distributors and retailers to produce unique ranges to their specification.

Our Curteis Creates team will consider any project, no matter the size. We are happy to offer advice and remove much of the burden of production from fast growing enterprises who can then focus on the marketing and branding aspects of their business.

The Curteis Creates side of our business has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, and we are enjoying the challenges it is bringing.

It gives us great satisfaction seeing the development of our customers’ businesses, and being part of their sometimes huge successes along the way.

What does the rest of 2021 look like for Curteis? Any news or new products we can discuss?

We anticipate 2021 to be a busy year for Curteis. We were particularly happy with our performance in the last quarter of 2020.

We have seen growth in sales, with chain sales particularly strengthened and the bespoke manufacturing side also growing.

Retailers came back to us last year, exploring all avenues and ways to conduct their business in the changed environment, and we continue in supporting them in these ever changing circumstances.

We established new business in the last quarter of 2020 and are continuing to do so in 2021. This is very encouraging, signalling a positive trend for sales, putting us in good stead for the year to come.
