Curteis ramps up support for jewellers during lockdown

Award-winning British manufacturer, Curteis, is working towards reinstating its production facilities soon.

Since the lockdown started, Curteis has continued delivering stock orders, working within government guidelines and making changes to operating procedures as required.

The phone has been attended as normal and the leading supplier has shipped product out to the trade once a week or more depending on volume of orders.

In a business update, Henry Curteis informs customers: “We continue to assess all aspects of the business day by day and would like to assure our customers we are doing our utmost to keep the channels open for you.

“We are constantly monitoring the orders coming in and are looking at steps to reinstating production very soon. To assist us in doing this we welcome customers to now place the orders they were holding back due to us temporarily pausing production at the beginning of the outbreak. This will allow us to make the necessary steps to ensure we work most efficiently.”

Orders can be placed online, over the phone or via email.

Office hours remain the same – Monday – Friday, 9-5.

“We reach out to our staff, customers, suppliers, contractors and the jewellery industry as a whole to keep safe and well during this time,” Curteis adds.

Other suppliers have also started to operate again, albeit on skeleton staff and fewer hours. Read more below:
