Family-run jewellery retailer CW Sellors has announced the opening of its new Matlock boutique.

The store – the 14th in CW Sellors’ portfolio – was inaugurated just before Christmas and is said to have enjoyed a successful period of festive trading.

The space stocks collections from Tresor Paris, Swarovski, Thomas Sabo, Sarah Jordan and Chimento, as well as watch brands including Seven Friday, Wenger, Sunnto, Casio, Bering and Bulova.

A statement from CW Sellors said: "The Matlock store offers further choice for those in search of the perfect piece with an exclusive range of British gemstone collections, made by their in-house design team."

The Matlock opening closely followed the opening of a CW Sellors store in the Victoria Quarter in Leeds; it also adds to its existing Derbyshire boutiques located in Bakewell, Buxton, Chesterfield and Ashbourne.

In November, the company scooped the award for Retail Excellence at the Midlands Family Business Awards, which is run as a charitable initiative organised by Nottinghamshire family business The Wilson Organisation.
