Designer launches three collections with crocodile and 1066 themes.

Daisy Knights is set to launch three new collections in sterling silver and gold vermeil, with the designer’s first official foray into men’s jewellery.

Knights, who was named a NexGem in the first Professional Jeweller Hot 100, has also created a diffusion menswear collection for online retail giant ASOA, that will launch in late September.

The three collections are called Namora, Signet and Venom.

The Namora range (pictured) has been designed to look like crocodile skin, with the surface of the jewellery exhibiting a scaly surface.

The collection includes chunky rings and large pendants that have been designed to give the skin a luxurious jewellery edge.

The Signet collection is a unisex range that takes reference from signet rings, and is based on a hoard of jewellery found buries in the hills of Hastings after the battle of 1066. The shield motif that features on rings and bangles in the collection is said to “embody honour”, created for urban adventurers with several designs made with men in mind.

Finally the Venom collection is based on the shape and representation of spiders and their associations with being tough and part of the underworld.

British rapper Plan B is already said to be wearing some of the Shield collection.

Knights has also created an exclusive collection for Harvey Nichols where she is due to be stocked from the end of September also. The range includes delicate star and anchor designs.

Daisy Knights was due to show her collections at IJL this weekend but due to a family bereavement has deferred until next year. For buyers interested in the collections or with wholesale enquiries please contact or head to Daisy Knight’s recently updated site.
