David M Robinson has drawn inspiration from the events of the last year for its Christmas installation for 2020.

The jewellery designer and retailer’s ‘Bringing Christmas Home’ in-store festive display recalls the days early in the pandemic when Britain clapped on its doorsteps for the NHS every week.

The jeweller’s Canary Wharf shopfront in East London therefore plays home to bespoke dollhouses, each of them unique and displaying some of DMR’s jewellery.


The company said its  latest festive display is inspired by those home comforts we have all enjoyed, celebrating the communities that have come together during these tough times.

It also noted that this significant investment in its shop window display is a powerful commitment to bricks-and-mortar retail at a time when the pandemic has proved a dangerous catalyst to already declining footfall figures.

Lauri Hammond, visual merchandising consultant, commented: “After a year like this, now is the perfect time for DMR to play our own part in spreading that all-important Christmas cheer.

“This 2020 installation is inspired by the more heart-warming elements of a difficult year in which we know many of our friends have faced their own challenges.

“It is our way of saying that despite these difficulties, the values within our homes remain the same- love, friendship and family.”
