Designer Liesbeth Busman joins Finnish jewellery brand Lapponia

Finnish jewellery brand Lapponia has welcomed renowned Dutch jewellery designer Liesbeth Busman to its team.

Based in The Hague, Busman draws inspiration for her designs from her travels around the world. Busman comments: “I am honored to be working with Lapponia’s inspiring goldsmiths. Their level of expertise and the techniques used are remarkably advanced. They have been an inspiration to me throughout my career.  It is truly a dream come true.”

Her debut collections for Lapponia, named Frozen Amethyst and Traces, are inspired by nature. “Nature is always changing, yet it remains timeless,” says Busman.

“Spring is my favourite time of year – it’s a promise of not knowing what lies ahead.  If you look at the desert, it seems very still, yet there is much happening below the surface. That is the hidden power I’m seeking in my jewellery, the fine line between movement and inactivity.”

Busman’s bold style is reflected in her Frozen Amethyst collection, which comprises earrings, bracelets and necklaces, with retail prices starting from £342 to £1,045.

The Traces collection retails from £135 for earrings, with necklaces retailing from £760.
