The Winchester show in November will feature about 80 designer and silversmiths.

Consumer-facing show to feature 80 designer and silversmiths.

Desire is set to make a return to Winchester in November, offering jewellery and silversmithing designs directly to consumers.

The fair claims to be the UK’s only fine mixed media and silversmithing consumer show where consumers can by directly from the designer-makers themselves.

The fair, which is run by Craft in Focus, will feature around 80 designers working in gold, silver, aluminium, brass, titanium, niobium, copper, bronze and platinum with enamel, gems and pearls.

New exhibitors for 2012 include Catherine Hills, who has been commissioned to make jewellery for the Harry Potter and Warhorse films, gift cufflinks for No 10 Downing Street and cufflinks for The Prince of Wales.

Other exhibitors include jewellery designers Amanda Li Hope, Paul Spurgeon and Sarah Herriot as well as silversmith Kathryn Hinton.

The show will take place at the Guildhall in Winchester from November 16 to 18.
