DMJ aligns itself with Hot 100’s Retail Stars

Multi-brand distributor shows support for UK’s independent jewellers.

Burgeoning jewellery distributor, DMJ, has become a Gold Partner for the Professional Jeweller Hot 100.

The Durham-based business, which currently represents 10 international jewellery and watch brands including Storywheels, Glam Rocks and Spinning Jewellery, will sponsor the Retail Stars category of the Hot 100, which features many of Britain’s most innovative independent retailers.

“We are massive supporters of the UK’s independent jeweller sector so we are delighted to come on board as the Gold Partner for the Retail Stars category,” explains Darren McCormick, chief executive of DMJ.

“The whole concept of the Hot 100 celebration of everything that is great about the British jewellery and watch industry appeals to us on every level,” adds McCormick.

DMJ is having the most exciting year in its history, with a raft of international brands being brought to the UK for the first time over the past 12 months. The distributor aims to give these brands a major push into retail in the lead up to Christmas.

“We have something to suit every type of retailer from entry level to luxury,” explains McCormick. “We have selected brands that are fresh, fashionable and will fly off the shelves of independent jewellers,” he concludes.
