Dower & Hall pen golden memories into new designs

Gold and silver Phosphorescence rings inspired by love letters.

Dower & Hall has created several silver, gold and diamond-set designs for launch at IJL, including playful, wordy stacking rings and pendants from its Memento collection and statements cuffs in its new Phosphorescence range.

Speaking of the Memento collection, Dan Dower said: “I have always been fascinated with words used in jewellery – I love the idea of emotive messages, but have been frustrated with the limitations of traditional techniques of engraving. With our new Memento collection I have combined 25 years of hand-making skills with state of the art computer design to create an effect of writing lifted straight from the page of a love letter.”

The new pieces in its Phosphorescence collection are inspired by the beachside walks the couple took on their honeymoon. The designs play on the undulating seas and the way the stars reflect in water at dusk, with hammered and matt finish. 18ct yellow gold is mixed with diamond-set 18ct white gold. Look out for statement cuffs and glamorous cocktail rings.
