EC One calling on applicants for fifth annual Unsigned Award

London-based retailer EC One is accepting applications for its fifth annual Unsigned Award – a competition to find the best emerging graduate jewellery talent of 2015. 

This year’s competition will be celebrated with a special evening event in September.

How to enter…

To enter you must have graduated from a design course in the past 2 years and be looking to pursue a career as an independent jewellery designer / maker. The winner will receive dedicated shelf space for their designs at EC One.

The prize will include wholesale costs when pieces sell, promotion in store and online, manufacturing advice from our Goldsmiths, business and sales advice from owners Jos and Alison Skeates, and more.

To enter simply post an image that best represents your work with a statement of up to 100 words, on the EC One Facebook page ( The team at EC One will pick their ‘Top 10’ favourites to go through to the first round and post these on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The three images with the most votes from your friends, family and our fan base will go through to the next round – alongside one ‘wildcard’ chosen by EC One.

The final four will be asked to present their work to a small panel of industry experts and the winner announced at our 5th Anniversary Platinum ‘Unsigned’ Party held on Exmouth Market.

Deadline for entries is 18th August.
