EC One calling on applicants for sixth annual Unsigned Award

EC One Unsigned

London-based retailer EC One is accepting applications for its sixth annual Unsigned Award – a competition to find the best emerging graduate jewellery talent of 2016.

The Unsigned Award is back from EC One for the sixth year running, giving emerging jewellery designers and makers the chance to expand their knowledge of the industry and refine their collections.

One lucky winner will have one to one mentoring from owners Jos and Alison Skeates on both business and sales advice, and developing and manufacturing a collection.

Following the success of the 5th anniversary event, EC One has now refined the terms & conditions of who can enter. Now, as long as hopefuls are still within three years since they registered their business, or three years since graduating, anyone can apply.

See the application process details below…

To enter simply follow the application instructions at, including a bit about yourself and five low res images of your work.

The team at EC One will vote to select the top 10 to go through to the first round, which will be a public vote via its website.

The three designers with the most votes will go through to the next round, alongside one ‘wildcard’ chosen by EC One.

The final four will be asked to present their work to a small panel of industry experts and the winner announced at the Unsigned Party to be held in September.

Deadline for entries midnight is Sunday August 7.
