Online jewellery retailer to take offer to trunk shows.
EG Studio is planning to push sales online and off this Christmas as it prepares to appear at a number of trunk shows in the lead up to the festive season.
This is the jewellery website’s first Christmas trading as the company, which sells jewellery from more than 70 established and emerging jewellery brands, launched earlier this year. It has since grown steadily, adding more brands to its offer.
In its first Christmas EG Studio will be mixing online and offline sale with appearances at trunk shows planned in the run-up to Christmas. EG Studio founder Elizabeth Galton said that the retailer will be pushing lower-priced items online and higher-priced fine jewellery at the shows.
She said: “We will be pushing online affordable pieces priced £165 to £900 [online] and offline our fine jewellery [priced at] £2,000 to £25,000, which we will be promoting at our private trunk shows.”
While EG Studios will be pushing both categories, Galton is expecting the lower price range to perform best this Christmas. “We expect price points of £165 to £950 for silver and semi precious gemstone jewellery to perform best,” she added.
EG Studio will also be runing a sale in January offering discounts of up to 30% on selected lines.
