Hudson Wright impresses Signet with understanding of its re-branding.

Signet Group has announced that it has appointed an outsourced creative agency to help develop its marketing for its Ernest Jones Love & Life rebranding, which it launched last year.

Hudson Wright Associates will now lead all of Ernest Jones’ premium branding and will work with the high street retailer on its marketing, designing everything from its advertising to its in-store POS and printed booklets or marketing material.


Signet said it went through an “extensive pitch process” to select Hudson Wright.

Its UK marketing director Colin Wagstaffe, said: “In the past 12 months we’ve adopted a new brand positioning of Love & Life for Ernest Jones which resonates with our customers, highlighting the significance of our products in recognising their personal moments that matter – from engagements to birthdays.

“In the pitch process, the team were impressed by the creativity and customer insight demonstrated by Hudson Wright in understanding our brand positioning and we’re looking forward to taking the brand forwards together.”

Hudson Wright will begin working with the jewellery and watch brand from now onwards, beginning with the production of the Christmas campaign.
