Leading industry supplier Unique & Co has reported a successful launch into the fine jewellery market.
Known in the industry for its accessible sterling silver designs for women, and trend-driven pieces for men, Unique & Co launched a debut 9ct gold jewellery line to celebrate its 20th.
Showcasing the gold jewellery collection for the first time at the Company of Master Jewellers trade event at the end of August, followed by a launch to the wider trade at International Jeweller London, Unique & Co has already signed 48 accounts to carry its gold stock, with many more interested and expected to place orders soon.
Unique & Co founder, Daniel Ozel, tells Professional Jeweller: “The new 9ct gold collection launch was really a great success for us and it has performed beyond our expectation.
“We opened combined at the CMJ event and IJL together now 48 accounts and many more are interested and will probably place orders soon. Most people we showed the collection like it and placed orders straight away.”
Feedback reveals retailers like the minimalist and contemporary designs, while the accessible price points have also been a draw.
Aiming to fit into the affordable luxury market, prices ranging from RRP £45-£219.
“It’s not the traditional 9ct jewellery, but a fresh and modern look and really great value for money,” shares Ozel.
“We feel that there was a market gap for branded modern 9ct gold jewellery, and after this great feedback we will now work on new collections in 9ct gold and will try to develop this further.”
The launch has been supported by a impactful photoshoot, and high-quality displays and packaging.
